Stallions

Our aim has always been to breed traditional Highland Ponies and to continue to improve on the stock that we started with. The Moss-side Ponies are bred to have good overall conformation and be able to move with straight elevated action.  Also, very important, we aim to maintain the breed characteristics - because if we lose them, we lose the elements that make the Highland Pony unique.

We assess our mares and then choose a stallion that will both compliment and improve any weak points. We are always willing to help in the choice of stallion for any visiting mares.
